Path: True Demon, 1st playthrough. --- Preparations: High Agility stat. You want your MC to act first (in case your allies get charmed/muted). A Magatama that resists/nullifies ailments (Muspell?) or Masakados if you have him. *Endure* for your MC. Pierce for your ENTIRE party (level your MC to Lv.95, fuse Metatron [see GFAQs for more info], go to the Fifth Kalpa and show him to the demon door; find the Shady Broker there and purchase the Girimehkala with Pierce; use Sacrifice fusions to get Pierce on your other demons). The MC learns Pierce from Marogareh BTW. Bring the Chakra Elixir or some Chakra Pots and some Beads of Life. Bring *Tarukaja*, Rakukaja, War Cry (or *Debilitate*), *Mediarahan* and Focus (optional). Bring your best attack moves too. I recommend Freikugel, Rebellion (if you use Dante), Hassohappa (for their critical rate), Lunge (low HP cost) and Iron Claw (attack power, only if you have Debilitate as well). --- Strategies: Lucifer's defense cuts your attack power to about, uhh, 1/10, so without Pierce it takes forever to defeat him. With Pierce however, your attacks "pierce" through his defense, and do normal damage. Getting Pierce on your demons are optional, but it speeds up the process. Now, about the actual fight, Lucifer has a normal attack which criticals about 90% of the time and never misses; an Ice-based Glacial Blast; a Fire-based Prominence; Megidola; Megidolaon; High King which is 1.5 times stronger than Megidolaon and randomly binds you; Evil ...
